Manchester United icon Wayne Rooney is reportedly about to quit the club after 13 years to take up a lucrative contract in China. Last month, Rooney netted his 250th goal for the club, surpassing the record previously held by Sir Bobby Charlton. The United captain also has a £35million-a-year ($NZ61 million) offer from China, where the transfer window closes next Wednesday (NZ time). The Daily Mail is reporting that Rooney will likely snap that offer up in the next week. "What I can guarantee is that if, one day, Wayne leaves the club, it is not because I want him to leave.
