The Chief of Staff Julius Debrah has said that the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) under President Mahama can take good care of the Chiefs and people of the Volta region (wives) than the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in every shape and form. "Nobody can take good care of our "wives" which is the Volta region than the original "husbands" which is the NDC," he said. He called on the regional executives to at all times brief the traditional council of current happenings esp of government's good intentions. He also affirmed the fact that the relations between the traditional council and the VRCC has been mutual and progressive.
