We have big plans for its revival.”His statement comes weeks after a 12-member inter-ministerial committee, inaugurated in November 2025 to identify a strategic investor for VALCO, submitted its report to the Minister. The modernisation of VALCO is a key component of GIADEC’s strategy to establish a fully integrated aluminum industry in Ghana, in line with national industrial transformation objectives.
