We should all learn from Tagumhome/Opinion/Op-Ed Columns/We should all learn from TagumDURING the 21st Araw ng Tagum, last March 7, the city government of Tagum launched Kagikan: Tracing the Flow of Tagum’s Rich History written by Richi Gulle, Xylee Labastida-Palomata, Louie Bryan Lapat, among others. Of course, this first attempt only outlines the history of Tagum and more can be written about specific events in and aspects of Tagum. If you are in Davao City, Tagum is only about 45 minutes’ drive from there. We must be learning from Tagum City. which is not just lip service but really active in making Tagum history interesting which makes people have a pride of their place; and they also have a Cultural Communities Affairs, headed by Xylee, making sure the IPs and Muslims are not left out in Tagum development.
