According to him, the opposition NDC recruited about 11, 000 people into public institutions when reality dawned on them that they were leaving power. Just two weeks to leave office, the NDC government recruited about 11, 000 people into public sector institutions such as the DVLA, GCB, Agric bank. According to the members of the NDC transition team, they took the decision because it was duly forwarded to the appropriate authorities for approval before their party’s defeat. He noted that such last minute deals could have far-reaching consequences for the NPP government.
