According to him, the project remains a strategic national priority with the potential to reposition Ghana within the global energy value chain. He also noted that the Petroleum Hub will not only transform the Jomoro Municipality but will also serve as a catalyst for broad-based industrialization. Dr Aubynn emphasised the Petroleum Hub's strategic importance in guaranteeing Ghana's energy security and its capacity to create sustainable livelihoods for over 700,000 Ghanaians.
