Not only did the Magpies suffer a wash out for their scheduled FA Women’s National League fixture at Portishead last Sunday afternoon, the delayed Vitality Women’s FA Cup tie between United’s Round 2 opponents Southampton Women’s FC and Brentford was also postponed a second time. Jackson-Sankey selected a side made up of First team and Development team players for the match in Buckinghamshire and an entertaining match ensued at French School Meadow. Last Sunday afternoon United’s Development team travelled to MK Dons and played their full part in a terrific game against an unbeaten Dons side.
