Egyptian weightlifter Mohamed al-Dib has won a gold medal at the Paralympic Games, bringing Egypt it's third gold and its ninth medal overall at the competition in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Dib won the gold medal in the men's under-96 kilograms category, after he lifted 233 kilograms. Egypt's second gold medal at the games — and it's eighth in total — was won by weightlifter Randa Mahmoud. She won the medal in the women's under-60 kilograms category, lifting 130 kilograms. He lifted 203 kilograms in the men’s under-59 kilograms category.
