The Natural Disaster and Management Organisation (NADMO) has constantly advised them to relocate but the residents say they have nowhere else to go. A pregnant mother who only identified herself as Edem told Joy News that the recent spillage nearly claimed her life and that of her child. Her four-year-old son, Godwin, nearly drowned last Monday when water from the dam was spilt. According to the reporter, residents of Tetegu, one of those communities in close proximity of the dam, has flooded many times.
