Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said that the Kenya Kwanza administration will continue working with the church, to develop a better country for future generations. Speaking on Sunday, Gachagua said the President William Ruto-led administration recognizes the church in the country’s social and economic development. “We will continue to work with the Church in building an advanced and developed country for the good of the present and future generations,” the DP said. “The contribution by our churches to the nation's social and economic growth is noteworthy"He had attended a church service at the ACK St Francis Ciamanda Church in Runyenjes, Embu, for a thanksgiving service for Technical and Vocational Education Training Principal Secretary Esther Mworia. Gachagua was accompanied by Head of Public Service Felix Koskei, Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, Embu Senator Alex Mundigi, and Nandi Senator Samson Cherargei.
