Wells club hosting 24 hour darts marathon for stroke victim Connor


Wells War Memorial Club is hosting a 24-hour darts marathon in March as it looks to raise funds for Connor Clarke after he suffered a stroke. Steve Tuck, chairman of Wells War Memorial Club, said: “What happened to Conor was awful and unexpected. Connor Clarke (Image: Connor's Fight Back)Mr Clarke was just about to start his second year of university in Leeds in September 2021, where he was studying microbiology, when he suffered a catastrophic stroke. They are looking to raise £20,000 to help him, as the stroke left him with considerable physical challenges to overcome.
