However, West Ham have dropped out of contention for the Champions League in recent weeks, which has weakened their hand in talks for Lingard. Lingard hasn’t entirely ruled out a return to Old Trafford but the Athletic claim it’s unlikely that he’ll sign for West Ham this summer. However, West Ham want to keep the midfielder and value him at over £100m. Spurs had previously shown an interest in Lingard and United are known to be keen on signing Harry Kane.
