Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetang'ula has asked the electoral commission to extend the voter registration deadline saying turnout has been low. Wetang'ula, who is Bungoma Senator, blamed the low numbers on "poor sensitisation" by the commission since the exercise began on January 16. We are appealing to them to extend the period for more people to register and participate in electing leaders of their choice,'' said Wetang'ula.
