HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - A new restaurant partnership is bringing back the vibrant cultural experience of Ethiopian cuisine to Hawaii. Over the past decade, they have opened and operated several Ethiopian cuisine concepts, including a location in Washington, D.C. They closed their beloved Chinatown restaurant during the pandemic, but now through a partnership with Bevy Restaurant & Bar in Kakaako, traditional Ethiopian dishes are served alongside Bevy’s craft cocktails. The restaurant in Kakaako serves as “a mission to share the rich flavors and traditions of Ethiopian cuisine with the people of Hawaii,” Samuel said. Their authentic cooking and standout vegetarian dishes earned Ethiopian Love a spot among the Top 3 Best Vegetarian Restaurants at the Hale ʻAina Awards.
