This drama stars Natalie Portman as a troubled NASA astronaut who returns to Earth from her first mission to outer space a changed woman. So she pushes herself to prepare for the next available mission and strikes up an affair with a fellow astronaut (Jon Hamm). Her world comes crashing down, though, when she learns that he’s been seeing another woman and that he kept her from the one thing she wanted. Lisa Marie Nowak, a former NASA astronaut who was charged with attempted murder in 2007 after attacking an Air Force captain.
