Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony at the Jubilee House on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, President Mahama charged the members of the group to bring their expertise to bear in turning around the country's economic fortunes. He further tasked the group to propose policy adjustments where necessary and provide expert input into Ghana’s economic negotiations with bilateral and multilateral partners, international financial institutions, and investors. The Vice President, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, will serve on the advisory body alongside a distinguished list of economists, financiers, and business leaders.
