What Should Students Do If They’re Signed Up For The August 29 SAT?


Getty ImagesAugust 29 was supposed to be the day that 400,000 students took the SAT college entrance exam. But the coronavirus is forcing the last-minute closure of thousands of test sites. Most U.S. students sit for the three-hour exam on designated weekend days at proctored sites inside school buildings. The number of sites listed on the College Board’s test centers closing page has also grown. College Board’s director of media relations Amanda Ingersoll said today that 14 centers in California are scheduled to be open tomorrow and 500 students are signed up for the tests there.
