If you’ve ever lived in New York City, you’re probably very familiar with the phrase “New York Strong.” Resilience and tenacity are the make-or-break traits of the traditional New Yorker. Brooklyn has about one-third of its population fully vaccinated, helping contribute to the state-wide 41 per cent of total vaccinated residents. Hopefully, my experience can bring our friends up north some hope that one day “the new normal” will bring people together again.
