Dewsbury is like the stage set for a modern-day Romeo and Juliet. In the east of this Yorkshire town is Chickenley, an almost entirely white British neighbourhood. Three miles to the north, Batley Carr is almost entirely Asian Muslim. Except that our Muslim Juliet would never meet her white Romeo. Farhana is a reserved 17-year-old from Batley Carr, and she keeps her unruly hair tightly wrapped under a hijab.
