An AI-ready leader can play a critical role in leading and guiding an organisation and society on the right path towards productive use of AI. In a psychometric evaluation, an executive who is AI-ready will have scores in the 70th percentile or above for Adaptability and Analytical Thinking, and in the 60th percentile or higher for Innovation. People who are adaptable to AI will score above the 60th percentile for these characteristics. The good news is that almost 60%, or 31 out of 52, ranked in the 60th percentile or above for analytical thinking. Although AI may be useful and benefit an organisation and society, its application should be guided by the moral compass of a leader at all times.
