This compares with the £30,000-plus fees paid by international students, that they might otherwise have been forced to pay. In the Netherlands, a big draw for UK students, those already on courses could be given the same home fee promise. Without this pledge, British nationals would have to pay international student fees of between €8,000-€15,000 a year. Students arriving after 31 December, will be treated as international students and pay the higher fees, the Dutch government confirmed.
