Now, the latest beta version (2.16.264) is providing a few more added features, including improved low-light selfies. When using the beta app, click the camera icon to go to photo mode and then switch to the front camera. Then, you can tap the flash icon at the top left to brighten your selfie. If your smartphone doesn’t have a selfie flash, it will light up your display to shed some light on your face. Users can doodle on photos before sending, though only those taken from WhatsApp’s camera tool, not images taken from your gallery.
