According to a decision by Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, the holiday commemorating the January 25 Revolution and Police Day in 2026 will fall on Thursday, January 29th. It is an official paid holiday for employees in both the public and private sectors. For institutions that have Friday and Saturday as their weekend, this decision grants employees a three-day holiday, starting Thursday morning and ending Saturday evening.
