Swords have arrived in Fortnite: Battle Royale, or, more accurately, a sword has arrived in Fortnite: Battle Royale. That's because this just isn't any regular sword, it's the Infinity Blade: the eponymous weapon of Epic Games' Infinity Blade series and a major turning point in the history of high-end graphics and complex gameplay on mobile devices. That series left the app store today as Epic decided it could no longer support it to the degree it wanted to, but you can still get to swinging in Fortnite: Battle Royale. It turns you into the biggest killing machine in the game, as well as the biggest target. As with the Fortnitemares event of a few weeks back, it reaffirms Epic's commitment to avoiding any sort of "standard" Fortnite: Battle Royale gameplay.
