Rajkumar Bafna, the President of Finance of Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd, has stepped down from his position, citing Delhi air pollution as the reason. The listed drug manufacturing company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that Bafna tendered his resignation on December 3, 2025. In a letter sent to the Delhi-based drugmaker’s chief financial officer (CFO) Sumeet Sood, he wrote: “I would like to inform you that due Delhi Pollution level I m resigning from my position as President Finance. He is the President of Finance of Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Ltd.Why did Akums Pharma Finance head resign? Rajumar Bafna was likely suffering from health issues due to deteriorating air pollution in the capital.
