In a statement issued on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, GWL said its engineers are working around the clock to fix the problem and restore operations. “Management sincerely apologises for any inconvenience this situation may cause and assures customers that efforts are underway to restore water supply as quickly as possible,” the company said. GWL has urged residents in the affected areas to conserve water while repairs are ongoing. It further assured the affected communities that water supply will be restored as soon as the fault is resolved.
