I waited in line on March 31, 2016, to put down $1,000 for a Model 3 reservation. I’m not a car guy but the Model 3 is a very fun car to driveAs you can tell I’m probably not the typical Model 3 buyer, but it is a very seductive vehicle. The Model 3 doesn’t have the luxurious feeling of high-end cars, but that is easily gotten over when you drive it. Not having a $35,000 version is a problemThe Model 3’s production and delivery delays haven’t bothered me. Since I wasn’t in the market for a new car two years ago having the Model 3 delayed isn’t a big deal to me.
