Leeds can have a real go in the FA Cup this season and improve their awful recent record in the competition. Leeds were often at Wembley under Don Revie and made four FA Cup Finals between 1965 and 1973, winning for the only time in their history in 1972. With a six-point cushion, Leeds are well on course to survive in the top flight – their No 1 goal this season. So boss Daniel Farke can also focus on the Cup and his substitutions at Birmingham show he is not taking the competition lightly. Leeds have not won at Wembley since the 1992 Charity Shield, when Eric Cantona scored a hat-trick against Liverpool, and maybe this could finally be the season they change that.
