(Image: PA)Zak Hardaker thought he had clinched victory shortly afterwards only to be denied by the video referee - but Wigan still closed out the win. But his side were gaining a foothold in the game and responded when full-back Bevan French dummied between props Hill and Mike Cooper to cross under the posts. Then came Hill’s rash tackle, which led to a lengthy delay as Powell was stretchered off and a penalty try that put the home side ahead for the first time. The Wigan full-back then turned provider for Marshall - and despite Warrington rallying again the home side stood firm.
