"Just want to let everyone know, we have two bear cubs in our tree," reads one from earlier this month. Crews in Prince George removed four black bear cubs from a tree in the College Heights neighbourhood. Bakker suggested the city of Prince George could roll out bear-resistant garbage bins similar to those being used in Port Coquitlam. The Northern Bear Awareness Society warns that when a bear finds food, it can return to that spot for years afterwards.
