At Newsroom we ask whether Modi will be able to beat back the lynch mob? Only hours after PM Modi hit out at cow vigilantes, another similar incident came to the fore from Jharkhand's Ramgarh. Senior Congress leader Manish Tewari said, "Ever since the Prime Minister issued a similar warning last year calling the gau rakshaks goondas, lynchings have actually gone up and not come down. PM Modi needs to back his rhetoric with action.
