It probably shouldn't be surprising to learn that the Fox News headline "California city to give universal income to transgender, nonbinary residents regardless of earnings" is plainly false. Trans and nonbinary residents of Palm Springs will NOT be given $900 regardless of income level. I'm sure any of the 8,000+ residents of Palm Springs who live under the poverty level could use an extra $900 a month. I now identify as a resident of Palm Springs and I identify as non binary. And since I don't have a home in Palm Springs, I should also get something for being homeless as well.
