The circumstances that brought Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz to their current impasses with the UFC are on opposite extremes. But with both MMA stars, the root cause of their discord with UFC President Dana White and co. is clear. “Why no put me in the fight (versus Bisping), because Georges no ready for fight with Bisping,” an impassioned Silva queried. In agreeing to this early summer fight, Silva says he turned down at least one lucrative outside project — likely in the Hollywood realm — in addition to footing the expenses for a training camp. “The (UFC brass) don’t respect my story, don’t respect my legacy,” said Silva, who is threatening retirement if he doesn’t get the Romero fight.
