After a somewhat ragged set there last September — one that saw him play “Jambalaya” twice, for one thing — 85-year-old Willie Nelson is returning to Toronto’s Budweiser Stage in June. Toronto will be the fourth stop on Nelson’s Outlaw Music Festival tour and the lineup here on Friday, June 21 has an unnamed opener but lots of other names familiar to roots-music fans: the Avett Brothers, 27-time Grammy winner Alison Krauss and Matt Mays. Tickets go on sale March 8, but Tuesday’s announcement didn’t say where; check in during the intervening days at outlawmusicfestival.com for details.
