A Windsor Morris dancing side will be hosting a home tour in Windsor tomorrow (Saturday). Windsor Morris was founded in 1974 and is one of ‘longest established women’s Morris teams in the country’. During the summer, the side performs at venues in and around Windsor and further afield at festivals and as guests of other Morris dancing sides. Saturday’s Windsor home tour will take place from 11am to 4.15pm and will see the side dance in the town with its guests Sussex Junction Morris. Windsor Morris’ dances are based on styles that were performed at the end of the nineteenth century in the Cotswold villages of Brackley and Badby.
