OTTAWA- Some of the biggest names in Canadian music were honoured on Saturday during a nearly four-hour Juno Awards gala at Ottawa’s Shaw Centre. Thirty-four of this year’s 41 Juno trophies were handed out to everyone from the late Leonard Cohen and chanteuse Sarah McLachlan to Toronto’s Strumbellas and Dundas-bred punks Dirty Nil.
