Seeking True Wisdom and Lasting HappinessIn my title, “Wisdom and Hope in Difficult Days,” the stress on hope may seem obvious since Revelation has much to say about the return of Christ and the restoration of all things. I now offer three specific appeals for wisdom and hope in difficult days: beware the beast, follow the Lamb, and long for home. It’s the other way around: Revelation gives us profound resources to make sense of our world and live with wisdom and hope through difficult days.
