At about 2:22 a.m. Saturday, Halifax Regional Police responded to a call from a 26-year-old man who said he had been stabbed after an altercation with a woman he knew, according to a news release. HALIFAX—A Halifax woman was arrested after an alleged stabbing in Point Pleasant Park Saturday morning, police say. The man called police from the corner of Inglis St. and Tower Rd., about a kilometre away from Point Pleasant Park where he said the incident took place. Police say a 25-year-old woman was taken into custody for assault with a weapon. The alleged victim was taken to hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
