She received a positive assessment for a kitchen helper position, which an expert told CBC didn’t qualify her for Saskatchewan’s permanent residency pathway at the time. After losing tens of thousands of dollars in what they call an immigration nightmare, they have returned to China and are now warning others about cracks in the Canadian immigration system.
