A 33-year-old Roddickton woman was killed Tuesday night when her vehicle crashed near the intersection of Route 433 and Route 434 on the Northern Peninsula. Officers responded to the scene around 8 p.m. to find the vehicle had gone over an embankment with three people inside. All were brought to the local medical centre, where police learned the 33-year-old woman had died from her injuries. Police did not say whether the woman was driving or was a passenger. Route 433 at the Conche turnoff was closed for about 90 minutes Wednesday morning so a traffic analyst could conduct an investigation of the scene.
