LUCENA CITY –– A 42-year-old woman was gunned down in front of her house here late Monday afternoon. A report from the Quezon police identified the victim as Anabelle Mangarin, an employee of a local mobile phone store. ADVERTISEMENTPolice said Mangarin was about to enter her house when two male assailants suddenly appeared and repeatedly shot her. The gunmen left on foot after the shooting that happened in Barangay 5 around 5 p.m. The victim died while being taken to Mount Carmel Diocesan General Hospital in this city.
