A woman is in hospital after a hit-and-run in Scarborough Tuesday night. The woman was hit sometime around 5:30 near the corner of Markham Road and Eglinton Avenue East. She was transported to a trauma centre in serious condition, paramedics said. Traffic along Markham Roads remains closed in both directions between Eglinton Avenue East and Luella Street as police investigate. Police have yet to release any information about a driver they suspect hit the woman.
