Police said Saengduean Thamwong, 38, was killed at the rail crossing in Moo 1 village in Tambon Pak Thang in Muang district. The woman was a student of a school under the Non-Formal Education Department. She was about one kilometre away from the school, taking her homework project home. Her relatives said the rail crossing is surrounded by high grass, blocking visibility, so Saengduean might not see the approaching train.
