The incident took place after the couple went to visit the college at Tilagarh around 9:30 pm on Friday. “The woman went to visit the college with her husband. At one point, her husband went outside the college leaving her behind,” Jyotirmoy Sarker, additional deputy commissioner of Sylhet Metropolitan Police, told bdnews24.com. As many as nine activists of BCL unit in the college are believed to be involved in the incident. Four of the accused, except Tarek and Robiul, are the students of the college.
