Woman to appear in court over Athlone public order incidentA woman in her 50s is due to appear in court to face charges in connection with an incident in Athlone this morning (Wednesday). The incident took place in Golden Island Shopping Centre when two individuals were sprayed with a can of Lynx deodorant. A spokesperson for Athlone Gardai said a woman was arrested. "The woman was charged and released on bail to appear before Athlone District Court in connection with the alleged incident on March 25," the Garda spokesperson said.
