Women's World Cup qualifying: Wales to play in Llanelli, Wrexham and Cardiff

Wales will play qualifiers in Llanelli, Wrexham and Cardiff as they begin their bid to reach the 2027 Women's World Cup. Rhian Wilkinson's side will face Montenegro at Parc y Scarlets in their first home game in Group B1 on Saturday, 7 March (16:30 GMT). They will meet Albania at Wrexham's Stok Cae Ras on Tuesday, 14 April (19:15 BST) with their final group game, against Czech Republic, taking place at the Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday, 9 June (KO TBC). Wales cannot qualify automatically for the World Cup, which takes place in Brazil, because they are competing in League B of the Nations League, which doubles up as their World Cup qualifying group. Assuming they do not finish bottom, Wales will progress to play-offs late in 2026.
