Work on a new development comprising 135 homes in Windsor is set to commence in the new year. Planning approval was granted by the Royal Borough in October for housebuilder Crest Nicholson to go ahead to deliver homes at its new Windsor Gate development. The development will feature 135 new homes across the 13-acre site, with 54 being affordable. Each of the 117 homes will include air source heat pumps, while the 18 apartments will use hot water heat pumps and electric panel heaters. The development will also feature open spaces, including community allotments, a wildflower meadow, three play areas and more informal play spaces.
