MONROVIA – The Liberia Taekwondo Federation (LTF) has received a major international boost following its selection as a beneficiary of the 2026 World Taekwondo (WT) Development Programme Equipment Support initiative. Liberia stands out as one of only ten national associations worldwide selected to receive equipment assistance this year. World Taekwondo President Chungwon Choue, who signed the communication, emphasized the global body’s commitment to implementing development programs with transparency and accountability. The letter further highlighted this year’s guiding vision, “Reborn Together,” which advocates for unity and shared responsibility in advancing the global Taekwondo community. It is believed that WT support could be the turning point for the federation, providing the technical preparation necessary to boost Liberia’s long-term competitiveness.
