"Poisonous Roses" stars Mahmoud Hemida and Merihan Magdi; it is written and directed by Ahmed FawziSaleh.Saleh is an Egyptian screenwriter who was born in 1981. "Poisonous Roses" is Saleh'sfirst feature film. "Poisonous Roses" will screen within the festival's Bright Future section, which is tailor made to support young and emerging filmmakers.The Bright Future's main program includes 48 movies. Those films will get their world premiere in Rotterdam Festival and will all compete for the Bright Future Award, worth €10,000.
