Leicester City centre-back Wout Faes has joined French club AS Monaco on loan for the rest of the season. The Belgium international joined Leicester from Reims in the summer of 2022 on a five-year deal and has made 135 appearances for the club. He has 28 caps and was a member of the Foxes side that won promotion to the Premier League in 2024, and played 33 games in the top flight. Faes joins a Monaco side currently ninth in Ligue 1, having lost their last three league fixtures, and they have an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.
